Is it possible to boost horsepower for a 2012 6.7L Cummins? How?

Looking to buy an RV. Many have 6.7L Cummins, some say HP is 300, some 330, others 340 or 350. What's the deal? Is it a computer chip or something that gives some a higher HP?

Is the case of RVs it's whatever the chassis was specd with when it was built, 6.7L is available in 200 to 325hp versions. Those engine above 325hp listing are most likely 8.3L engines. There are performance tunes available for RV applications but more then likely those ratings you are seeing are factory hp numbers.
