I have been having problems with my truck "flaring" when upshifting from 1-2 and 2-3 since i got the truck. It is more noticable since i had a tune built and have a little more power.
It mainly only does it during cold trans conditions and light throttle input.
But it did it today with a warm trans and i unfortunatly was hammering down on it when it decided to do it and i was overdriving "slipping" the trans while it was going into 2nd or 3rd (couldnt tell) until i let off.
It revved all the way up to my rpm cutoff when i noticed i wasnt spinning the tires and that the trans was slipping and let off.
I have tried to duplicate the senerio after and could not.
Can someone please tell me or help me modify my trans tune to get rid of this so i dont burn up my trans.
The temps spiked hard after it did it from my normal 90-110*F to 145*F
So it was slipping hard!
I tried to download my trans tune file but my iphone wont let me. But i can email it to someone if that would work.
