Hello,
Can the EFIlive tuning system hook into a Boss Hoss motor bike that runs LS engine?
It has 4 wires to the datalogging/Scan tool plug but uses a non-standard OBD plug.

I can get pictures of this plug if it helps.

Thanks
Regards,
Brendan.

what PCM or ECM does it uses? IF it is a GM compatible one, it should read/tune

+1 engine controller has to be a GM GenIII PCM or GenIV ECM.

Will get the covers pulled off and find what ECM is in it.
Would imagine they would use the GM one.

Pulled the covers over and have Identified the ECM as a E67.
Traced the 4 wire datalogging port back to ECU and here is the pin out.

Wire 1, Orange = 12V
Wire 2, Black = Earth
Wire 3, White/red = CAN+
Wire 4, White = CAN-
Rest of places on plug = Blank.

get an OBD2 connector and rewire it like this::

Wire 1, Orange = 12V----------------------------- PIN 16 on OBD2 connector
Wire 2, Black = Earth----------------------------- PIN 4 and 5 OBD2 connector
Wire 3, White/red = CAN+ --------------------- PIN 6 OBD2 connector
Wire 4, White = CAN- ------------------------ PIN 14 OBD2 connector

Now you can read and tune it.

Thanks for the reply. I have already made a cable up using a old network cord and cut one end off it then followed the.

Bench Harness Tutorial.

It detects the ECU as E67 and starts to read but about 40 secs in error pops up. "Received no data".
So im going to go down to the wreackers and cut off a OBD2 plug and make a nice looking adapter then just using a pin headder on the end of a network cord.
