Cal-Flash or Full Flash?

I'm new to tuning, I bought the V2 suite so I can flash tunes into my customers cars.

When my Tuner sends me a tune am I suppose to do a cal -flash or a full flash?

I licensed the PCM and the Trans Controller and i did a cal -flash and now after i did some more research i'm not sure if that was right.
Also after flashing how do i check to make sure it actually flashed the tune?

If the tuner has used a custom operating system, you will need to do a full flash. Same operating system, cal flash only is required. After flashing you can read the tune from the pcm to check it went through & do a compare. But I have never had a tune show as a successful flash & be incorrect.

No worries.
At the end of the day, doing a full flash when you only need a cal only flash will not hurt anything. It will just take a bit longer.
