New Guy, questions about black box logging

New to this forum and efi tuning.
Been reading a lot and still have tons of reading to do. Thanks for all the info.
I have questions about black box logging...

Will I be able to accomplish all of the logging I need to do without a laptop?
Will I be able to see if I'm logging values I need (hitting all the cells) on the V2 screen?
Or is it much easier to see and use with a laptop?
Trying to set real expectations as I have not purchased yet.
Do you use a laptop to log, or do use only the V2?

hey mate sorry for the late reply.
Q1: Yes you can, but its a lot easier with the laptop plugged in as you can see what cells you are hitting.
Q2: No
Q3: Yes and no
Q4: the program is great to use but there is a very steep learning curve.
Q5: You can use either.
What car and what PCM are you buying it for.

I ended up going with a competitor's product because I found a tuner that used that platform.
I figured I could follow his steps better and make it easier to get help from him using the same platform.
Regretting it already with the VVE table issues I ran into.
I might just end up back here in the future.

BTW, 2010 Camaro SS with the E38
