New to tuning, Any benifit in reducing values in table B2417 CFCO enter spark timing

Just wanted to say hi first and let you guys know that I am a tuning newbie. So I apologise if I am slow to pick things up.
I have a done a lot of reading, and know a little.
So my question: is there any benefit in reducing the values in table B2417.

Forgot to mention, its a M6, E40 pcm.

After playing around with values, I have noticed that stock values in the table help the car track straight especially when wot shifting.
