Hi Guys,

About to tune a '99 LS1 with cam and procharger, running 12212156-> to COS5.

Two main questions-

1.) to get me started, how much timing should I subtract from A0010? I looked at an N/A tune I know made good power and drove well for my high and low octane spark maps. I have heard I should pull 1° for every 1 pound of boost rule of thumb- does this seem right?

2.) Does B5908 add or subtract timing(IE positive number adds, negative number subtracts)? I am using the COS5 B3647 to command 11-11.5AFR under boost as in the tutorial. My concern is that A0010 will pull timing under boost and B5908 will add it back in.

Thanks!

1) start with that rule of thumb (1 degree per psi of boost) until you get access to a dyno (loading type).

2) B5908: yes correct + adds and - subtracts. B5908 is usually full of zeros, or if it isn't you can zero it.
