Hoping to get a bit of advice..

I am attempting to get a tune into a manual VE commodore running a 403 stroked engine,
I am having difficulties with the virtual VE tables.
Currently, I am running the engine in mafless closed loop and have a LTFT ben table plotting the errors.
Transferring the logged data to the VE table works fine, then I am hand smoothing the table.
I then generate the coefficient's, only to find that I have wasted my time working on the table as it generally puts me back where I started.
I have tried this over and over, so by my guess, I am doing something wrong..
Most of the VE table is within 4 percent, but I can't seem to improve on it.
There are also starting issues that I am battling, but I have put them aside until I get the fuelling where I want it.
If someone is interested in helping me out here, it would be appreciated.
I have attached a log and the tune file.

Have you been following the VVE docs:

Yes, several times.
I just think I am trying to get the Virtual VE table to be too accurate. From what I gather, it is not capable.
I now have it within 2 percent. About 3 or 4 points are slightly higher, but it's not worth chasing.

Don't over-smooth the VE table. Just smooth out the spikes and holes.
