Poss to get a new V2 Box? If so, how much? I would really like to blackbox log, but I have not had any luck getting this one to log and not suddenly stop.

Might be something wrong with your SD card (might not make good contact)...?
Or maybe USB connector is broken (solder cracked at circuit board)...?
Or bad USB cable...?

I've tried a bunch of different cards, but they all did the same. Even when I log internally, it just suddently quits. I am able to flash and read, no problem. I am able to pass thru log with out problem, endlessly.
Talk to me goose. Give some more ideas.
I see you mentioned USB cable, but remem no usb cable on blackbox logging. So is it poss to buy a v2?

Some SD cards are too thin... try to shim it (on the side opposite the contacts, i.e. to push card contacts closer to their mate).
If you're electronically inclined, you might remove the screws from the back an open it, look at the circuit board for cracked solder joint in vicinity of SD card module connector.
Ah, of course, USB cable is not involved during BBx
When you say "buy a box" you mean the case...?

Ok, the problem all along has been the RJ45 connector on the box. I need a new RJ45 connector. Any idea where I can find one for the V2? Also any how to do this docs on this?

basically you open the V2 shell and remove the board, and very carefully unsolder the RJ45 socket, and solder in the new one.
Are you good with soldering iron...?

I soldier all my own stuff on the car, but I'm going to have to look closer at this one:
I see two parts listed in that thread. Is it 95501-2661 or 95501-2821? I guess for that price I could buy both and find out . I promise one thing. If I get this part, going to document and post up
a vid.
EDIT: 2661 is an RJ12 not a RJ45 according to website.

I guess I'll order one of each.
