I'm going to be doing the STS kit and running motron 60# injectors ....my stock pump drops about ~2-3psi at WOT. would upgrading the fuel pump keep that steady instead of varying?...stock pump is seeing 58psi peak

should I run the stock fuel pump and the 60#ers or upgrade the pump also?

you have a couple of options for the fuel pump when you order your sts kit you can order with it a boost a pump which raises the voltage to the pump and forces it to pump more fuel when you are running in a boosted condition or you can get either the Walbro or Holly in tank replacement pump. the replacement pump should run you about $175 and the boost a pump will be about $100 more.

hope this helps.

I agree. We used the BAP as a last resort to just bump the fuel capacity up a notch more when the Walbro is reaching it's limit. The in tank pump will be a cleaner install.

I run a Racetronics pump in my car. It works fine except that the fuel pressure drops after the car has run awhile. When cold I see about 63 psi and after an hour or so of driving the fuel pressure is down to 58 psi. It makes it difficult to know what psi to set the fuel injectors up for. Maybe this is a function of the lovely C5 returnless fuel system.
