I haven't had this happen before but before I go putting a different tune file in the car I wanted to see if anyone else has had the same issue and if someone can help resolve.
I have updated V7.5 and V8, FS has been updated and I have run the update patches. I also read the ECU via V8 to ensure it wasn't a bug.

OS 01250232

Calibration 12639269

Being a HSV, I can't reflash the ECU via TDS with Tech 2 but there is a calibration on tune file depot which is 12629270 for 2011 HSV?

Here's the message i'm getting
1838718388

Post the file. I think it's a HP tuners COS

It all makes sense now.
That's what I will do

looking at the tune, it doesn't look much different than a standard tune, apart from the hpt ve stuff replacing the factory vve

Easiest thing to do is go to.

https://tis2web.service.gm.com/tis2web/

punch in the vin and go through to the ecu and it will tell you factory os/cals it should be.

then look / request a factory tune for that os/cal.

Software Description
Main Software Calibration Module 12653249
System Calibration Module 92265567
Fuel Calibration Module 92265405
Speed Calibration Module 92263123
Engine Diag. Calibration Module 92265402
Engine Calibration Module 92265398

Thanks for that,it just so happens that you have exactly the cals listed that i need by the looks of it. I notice the main software cal & speed cal file on my ecu are different to the ones that came up on that website you linked me to.

depending on rim size chosen it could be a different part calibration number. nothing to worry about generally.

The main software calibration number is different also? I can't seem to find anything anywhere that's going to let me edit this thing.

You can't edit the HPT Custom OS based file - last 4 digits 0233, so you will need to find an equivalent EFILive .ctz or .tun file - which were available on tunefiledepot.com but it appears to have gone missing, so try:

You really need the 12647990 OS/main calibration number for your model or 12653249 as TreCool got from TIS. Looks like 12647990 was updated to 12653249.

I tried to do a full flash with the 2011 .tun but it said it was an incompatable OS so I tried the one pictured above and it took it. It idles better now but obviously I have alot of reading/learning ahead of me before I go too mad. Will plumb in a wideband now and see what I can mess up lol.
