Howdy everyone.
I am not new to the tuning world, just new to the COS setups. I have a 12212156 os for a LS1B controller and did the full flash of the 02020005 os and then cal flashed with the stock cal files. Went to read the COS5 with the stock cal flash to edit and now the controller is locked. I cant do anything that will allow me to read or change the file, cant even full flash stock file. What happened? Please Help Joecar!!! I know the master brains here can help.

Was it a 512KB LS1B PCM...?

( i.e. not a 768 KB or 1 MB PCM )

Is it in the vehicle or on the bench...?

It was a 512kb and the ecm was in the vehicle. This is 78 trans am that has this transplanted in. The ecm gets power from an auxiallary switch panel. I feel there is no electrical interference that could be causing issues.

See Issue #6 here

An update is planned for later today that will allow you to restore the lock on your LS1 controller so it works normally again.
Until then to read/flash the controller, you'll need to select the "Try Alt Keys" and "Assume Lock May be Faulty" options.
