I dont see this car listed on the compatibiliy list for EFI live and was wondering if it was a mistake or what was different about it and all the other cars from this era with the same engine platform. I just picked one up for 600$ and was hoping to be able to diagonise it but ran into this issue.

That might use a Saturn specific ECM, I have no idea being an 05 as GM was all over the place with ECM suppliers. Can you see the ECM?

Yes I can do you want a picture? I am starting to wonder if the OBD port even works because I get absoutely no response when I plug the flashscan into it.

Sorry aarolar, that is one of those Saturn only odd ball ECM's, we don't have any support for it. In fact I'm not even sure what communications bus that would use.

Sounds like an excellent case for a swap of some sort. Oh well either way I only have 600$ tied up in it.

LS7 swap will do wonders for a small car...:cucumber:

Yes, I'm being funny, but don't laugh, I've seen LS1 swaps into various Miata/MX5, the car becomes a brutally quick/fast (both).
