Getting ready to swap a 2006 5.3 and 60e in to a 93 gmc rcsb. Gonna be stock except for exhaust and cai for now but a cam is in the pipeline so I have a few questions.

First is for widebands. Been looking at the plx with dm6, mtx-l and the aem. What are some first hand experiences with any of the three. Yes, I have waded through the vast threads after searching.

Next would be about the ecm and which base file to start with. I am keeping the dbw and also have electric fans but I can control them separate from the ecm. I won't have a/c to start with but want to have it rigged up this winter so I'm ready for next summer. I will be using a bracket that allows me to keep my r4 compressor and am needing the ecm to be able to control it NOT VIA SERIAL. I can control the fan with a relay that I will tie in with the compressor clutch activation so that the fans come on when the a/c is running.

Lastly would be transmission settings. I have no problems with firm shifts.

Any and all help is appreciated and I thank you in advance
