I've used EFL for three years now, but only for scanning and diagnostics; I've never actually done any editing. But that may change, and I have a couple questions.
For the sake of argument, let's say we're talking about a ZL1, E67 ECU. I want to raise the rev limiter from ~6200 (it's variously 6200, 6220, and maybe some other values depending upon location) to 6600, say. I need to change the Main Rev limiters, upper and lower, right? And I also change the values in the various Rev Limiters by (Fuel/Spark/Throttle), as indicated by which of those methods are activated in the main parameters page. And the Cold Engine Limiter table.
Is that it?
Further, and while I know this is a searchable topic, it seems that there's zero consensus on it - what is the 'footprint' of a change like this? Assuming a reversion to stock, does the E67 have a flash counter like the newer diesel units (or perhaps more correctly, does the E67 have an implemented flash counter)?
