EFILive is pleased to announce T87 8 speed TCM Tuning support is scheduled for release in our next software update now that initial beta testing has been finalized.

(http://www.efilive.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=48&Itemid=133)Should customers wish to start tuning T87 TCM's ahead of the next public release, T87 calibration files can be obtained for customers running the July 08 public pre-release software by contacting me via PM with your email address or by sending me an email requesting the appropriate files (email cindy@efilive.com).

This TCM is used in GM's 8 speed applications including the 2015 Corvette and 2015 Silverado/Sierra. The 2015 Duramax uses the same T87 hardware, however the software component is significantly different to the gas based vehicles. This release DOES NOT add support for Duramax based vehicles. A full list of supported vehicles is now available on our website http://www.efilive.com/gm-transmission-supported-vehicles

For existing customers, if you are already tuning the ECM from your vehicle using the T87, your transmission license costs you nothing - it's included in every $125 VIN license you buy.

Cheers

Excellent job EFILive crew!! I wont ask about "when is Allison support coming", but hopefully it is on the development map at some point!

One quick note Cindy... GM switched to the T87 on 2015.5+ Duramax's. The first half of the 2015 model year still used the same A50 that 2009-2014 trucks used. If customers are not sure whether their truck is a 2015 or 2015.5, they can either look at the TCM itself, or look at their glovebox RPO sticker...the 2015.5+ trucks have the RPO code "AVF" listed on the sticker.

Not all A50 TCM's are the same. EFILive only supports to 2010 for the A50 due to the software design differences. A50 support for 2011-15 will be undertaken before looking at the Duramax T87. They are both on the development list.
