With every fuse I can pull and still have it connect and alt. keys ,unchecked high speed it went though ,I try putting some fuses back that I didn't know what they where and it failed after 5 min flash dam didn't think the bench flash would save me but looks like it took it,so how can I pin point what system is causing the problem besides 10 more hrs and hopefully not a cooked ecm of trying stuff18659

Did you try the latest software/firmware: July-08-2015-EFILive-Public-Pre-Release (https://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?25758-July-08-2015-EFILive-Public-Pre-Release)

works fine with v8 ,works fine with hpt, just doesn't work with 7.5,I need to be on the beta list if there is a problem I sure find it

With every fuse I can pull and still have it connect and alt. keys ,unchecked high speed it went though

That is indicative of an aftermarket module* on the bus that does not support high-speed mode. Once the bus is switched to high-speed mode that module will only see errors on the bus because it can't understand the high speed data. When it sees errors it is most likely issuing a bus reset that will reset all modules back to low-speed (normal) mode.

Can you please try the same option using the latest V8 software in pass-thru mode. That will create a trace file in the folder: \My Documents\EFILive\V8\Trace.
Please send me that file and it may show which module is causing the issue.

* Do you have any gauges or dataloggers or other monitoring equipment that connect to the OBDII bus?

Regards
Paul

Ahh, I did not see this post before posting my previous response.

Can you send me the matching V7 trace file from when it fails? (send to paul@efilive.com with a link to this thread)

The V7 trace file can be found in the folder: \My Documents\EFILive\V7.5\Bug Reports
The trace file will be called something like this: 20150720_130935_download.blx
where the 20150720 is the date in the format: YYYYMMDD
and 130935 is the time in the format: HHMMSS
The date and time are the date and time that the flash was attempted, so you're looking for a file that ends in "download" (download=flash) and has a date/time that matches when you attempted to flash the controller using V7.

Paul
