Preface; when I used a normal distributor, i would set up the advance to 36 degrees at cruse, and 8 to 12 inital, for launch. looking at the spark timing in our ECU's "LS1B" I see the exact opposite or am i reading it wrong?? I am really perplexed by this quandry? I am still trying to get the correlation of all the maps and how they work together? I try to relate everything back to my Holly and HEI days, trying to make sense of it all. :Eyecrazy::Eyecrazy:

Which LS1B HO Spark table are you loking at...?
The car LS1/2/3/6 HO tables command about 40* advance at low load and about 24* advance ar WOT.
The LSx heads are designed to be fast burn, so less WOT advance is needed than SBC.

Are you trying to understand how the ignition tables work...? Start with B5913 and read its description, follow links tothe other tables.

Actually, I meant look at all the tables in the Spark section (I see that B5913 has a brief description).
