Hey guys, this is my first post on these forums. I need some help with Scan tool on a E67 ZR1 vette. Plugged into a laptop it tells me it has successfully connected and tells me info about the car, but when I enable the PID's I would like to monitor, I get nothing. Does anyone know what this could be? Thanks in advance.

Have you actually started scanning once your pids have been selected?

Press the red record button (bottom center of scantool window).

I have clicked the Red record button and it says that it is recording at the bottom of the screen but all of the graphs and gauges show nothing.

Post screenshots of what scantool shows.

In scantool, go Edit->Properties->Connection and set Preferred Cable Type to EFILive FlashScan V2.5 HAPI, and click Ok.

Also, it is easier to read an actual screenshot (i.e. taken by doing Shift-PrtScrn)...

I use Greenshot to annotate the image, see http://getgreenshot.org

you don't have many pids selected, select a few more (SAE.RPM, SAE.MAP, SAE.IAT, SAE.ECT, SAE.MAF)... and at least the pids needed for those gauges your pic shows.

Thanks so much for the help. My PID's were all screwed up.Everything is working great now. I have one more question though, one thing I want to monitor that I don't have yet, that is what PID should I use to monitor Supercharger boost?

Try: SAE.MAP, GM.BOOSTxxx, GM.MAPBOOSTxxx.

When you find which one works, we may have to make a calc pid out if it (to convert from absolute pressure to boost pressure relative to BARO).

I created a calculated pid using map - baro. Will dig it out when back at computer.

Will try that tonight and reply with what worked for me. Thank you.
