I have a 1999 C5 corvette that is used mainly for drag racing. For the last 2 seasons I have been using EFI live to modify the %ETC table. I do this in order to dial in my car based on weather conditions, track conditions, event etc. Last week over the course of 3 runs I lost a full second in my 1/4 mile ET. The car ran fine but was just slow. It seemed as if the throttle was not opening up to the desired position. This even happened when I changed the %ETC table back to 100%. I have heard that by modifying the %ETC table that you can damage your PCM. Is it possible that I damaged my PCM such that the car runs but the throttle does not open up properly.

If by modifying the ETC tables some internal sanity envelope is exceeded, my understanding is that the PCM goes into some infinite loop throwing P06xx codes and not doing anything else (i.e. engine won't even start let alone run).
