trailer brake controller

Can full flashing any LML affect operation of the trailer brake controller if the segments are not all correct. I have a customer stating that their trailer brake controller stopped working sometime after tuning. I do not see anything under vehicle options that could affect this, but I could be wrong.

I believe it can. I'm pretty sure others have had this happen with LMM's.
