Hi all, I need some help here. I am having some problems with not ready SRT for Evap, SAIR and O2 sensor 2.

I need to get it inspected to get my registration for my specialty licence plate. I live in Texas and in the past the inspection was separate but legislature now combined them and called it the "Texas two step".:Eyecrazy:

I have tried everything suggested by Joecar in this thread but systems are still not ready https://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?5321-Evaporative-purge-system-not-ready

The car is heavily modified and is a show/track car and these are not connected: evap purge solenoid (one on the engine), AIR pump and O2 sensor 2.

Do the sensors need to be plugged in for the test to try to run. In other words the circuit tests does not have a DTC but the performance of the system test is set to not reported thereby thinking it is ok? In my reading it looked like everything could be removed and set to not reported with MIL on and as soon as key on everything would report ready.

I'm running a roadrunner 512k 0411 COS5 open loop tune and specifically set evap to purge in OL, I would think RR is no different with running these processes.

That table is for 2001-2002 F-car...

Y-car may have a few extra DTC's added to the table, I would have to locate the table for 2001 Z06.

The Oxygen Sensor test has these DTC's extra: DTC P0140 or P0160 (http://127.0.0.1:9001/servlets/CellHandler?CellId=32906&RefDoc=706731&evc=sm)

Look thru your table C6001 to see if any other DTC's related to any of the SRT's are enabled.

I found the DTC table herehttp://www.gearchatter.com/viewtopic10274.php

AIR - P0410, P1415 or P1416
Catalyst - P0420 or P0430
EVAP - P0440, P0442, P0446, P1441
Oxygen Sensor - P0133 or P0153, P0140 or P0160, P1133 or P1153, P1134 or P1154
Oxygen Sensor Heater - P0135, P0141, P0155 or P0161

So I set all of these to not reported and MIL while not changing any of the other related DTC. They were left to facotry some were 1 trip while some were 2 trip.

But if I look up the processing conditions for AIR DTC P0410, I see that P0101 can not be set but I have permanently removed my MAF and set it to non emissions fail. Does this mean it will not run the P0410 test? I'm not sure what I'm missing.

That could well be the case... the AIR SRT might not run because the presence of P0101 is blocking it... could try an experiment, set P0101 to Not-Reported and MIL and see if AIR SRT runs.

Looking again it's all the MAFs P0101 through P0103. I think I tried that way back when and the car would not start because it would not fail into speed density backup. I'm curious now so I may try it again.

Ok so now I think it's working.

I was using the scan tool to check SRT's after evey flash I made to see if the SRT changed to ready. I then was looking at SMS (Mode $05) and tests were passing. Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel I wondered if the SRT system had ever been reset so I cleared DTC and EPA test results. I don't think I had ever done that on the Road Runner. Soon as it cleared all SRT went to ready.

Now I just need to drive it to see if anything trips back to not ready or if the MAF fail does anything. Right now MAF is not failed because I have not restarted the engine.
