I updated to the latest firmware:
boot block 2.07.07 feb 7 2014
firmware 2.07.82 apr 10 2015

efilive is v8.2.2.276

the firmware update window says that everything is OK

and now i cant bbx read or write to my pcm. it is a ls1b that i have written to many many times,
it now returns a $0333 error
i have not locked anything
i checked and the tune is not locked
I can read and write using a laptop and passthrough with the two extra boxes checked, "assume faulty lock" and "use alt keys"

i have re-saved the full config to the v2, i made sure ls1b is checked for supported modules

My laptop is a pos and the battery only lasts a few minutes, i really need this standalone feature. i havent used a laptop in my truck in years

is there a fix for this?

I just updated everything to the latest pre-release (https://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?25922-Sep-2015-EFILive-Public-Pre-Release) and tried reading the pcm and got the same 0333 error.

Did you flash firmware 2.07.91 into your V2...?

See post #1 here: Setting-up-a-FSV2-from-scratch (https://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?20699-Setting-up-a-FSV2-from-scratch)

yes that is the firmware that i currently have installed in my v2

I followed the steps in the first post, then went to my truck and tried to read the cal then write the cal and both processes failed with the same error.
