Cost to upgrade from V1 to V2? Done a search but couldn't find much

Well it's about time to upgrade my V1 to the V2 since I have a newer corvette now. I tried to find out what the cost was but couldn't find it. Correct me if I'm wrong but I was thinking it was a little cheaper to do the upgrade rather than just buying the V2.

You need your V1 serial number, otherwise it's $899.
