View Full Version : I have no clue as to what I am doing.

October 9th, 2015, 02:37 AM
I have just bought efi Live and its connected to the car. Its a ws6 6 speed. Engine is bone stock. I have installed a Dana s60 rear with 4:11 gears. When I correct the parameter for the final drive gear my Speedo doesn't change. I am doing a full scan and full reflash. I would like to change and get into more but my reflash isn't changing anything. I am following the directions it gives me for saving the tune file first. I am following the countdown and it comes up and says that reflash was successful. I am lost.

Have you tried using the speedo calculator in the speedometer/parameters section to adjust your tune? You will maybe have to put "(H0103) Differential Ratio" back to original value before using the calculator.

Sorry for the delay...

So you have 275/40R17 tire...?

H0101 should be 55044, and H0104 should be 3238...

But do what cv8r said above, set the Hxxxx parameters back to stock and click on the Speedo Calculator tool

( you will need to run the V7 tunetool as Administrator )

Did all that and it changed the pid but not on my Speedo. So I am sure my entire year of messing with this program has been a waste because I have not registered the software and hardware. How do I get a new registration number? Also side note my pcm selected in v8 shows a 98-00 ls1a but everything else is saying ls1b

Did your V2 come with a blue card in the box...? If not then send an email to [email protected], mention your V2 serial number, and request a registration key.

In V8, can't you rightclick on it and set it correctly (to LS1B)...?
