Hey Guys,
Have a customer with a 2011 LML, his truck won't do a burnout for some reason. It's a 2500, and he says he read where you had to hold the button long enough to turn the stabilitrak off, etc.... still doesn't do a burnout. I've played with a few settings and haven't had any change at all. It goes to about 2500rpm then drops right back down, and keeps on doing it.

Only thing I don't have is a video showing the message that says "Stabilitrak Off" but I'm assuming he knows enough to have verified that it was working when he held the button down.

Anyone else ran into this, and have any insight on what could be going on?

Thanks!

Good question.

Its probably driveline protection algorithm in the TCM (or ECM). Turning off TCS and ESC (by holding the button for 5 seconds) should allow you to do all the burnouts you want.

Is brake-torque-management disabled in the tune?

It is the stabilitrak that is doing it. I just couldn't get mine to turn off. Thank you Ben for pointing it out. I know my tuning was not the listing factor there. It works now.

He said he's holding the button for 15 seconds I believe. All torque management is off, and I've used the same settings as I do on all of the LML trucks we tune. See attached images for the settings most recently applied.

Try making b0401 158, b0402 157, b0403 100, b0404 99, b0405 2418, b0406 2400, b0407 1476. See if that fixes it.
