HI,
I have decided to put my V6 VX commodore on LPG. I have trying to find out the best system, and the best way of doing the conversion.

It seems strange to me that nobody remaps the ECM. Surly the original map this would be wrong for a new fuel.

I have been told that the ECM will learn the best settings for LPG. That seems to be a big ask for the ECM.

Does anyone have any experience with VX V6 commodores on LPG?

Would it be reasonable to leave the spark timing upto the original ECM maping?

Does anyone have a good map for LPG?

THanks

Mike

Mike,

The VX-II V6 PCM is a flash type, why no-one does them I am not sure, maybe the market is just not big enough.
I am sure Holden would have an LPG tune for them, contact the user on here - Doctor Bob (http://forum.efilive.com/member.php?u=33).

Cheers,
Ross
