I swapped my tranny for a manual G56 but because I changed the ecm. I need to clear some codes because of the different vin numbers.
One code I need to change is U0121 for my abs brakes, need to put a good code to clear it or what else can I do?:wallbash:

Any particular reason you changed the ecm, when a simple OS change would have worked?

How can I change my original ecm to manual transmission?

A simple flash of a manual transmission operating system and of course the wiring part and your done. No need to get a manual transmission specific ecm.

How would I go abouts doing that with out changing the vin?

You'll have to change the Vin but if you can change the OS, then a Vin swap is easy

personally I would just use the auto ecm that came in the truck.

So all I would do is load in the manuals os into my original ecm.

Now what about the vin, that is going to change too right. When I load it in do use Cal-flash or Full-flash?
