Just bought a v1 with commercial upgrade

I've been getting mixed info on the older v1, i just bought it a week ago and it has been upgraded to a commercial and i have a 2004 lb7. Can i use this v1 to tune my truck? will it support .ctz and .coz? i know that i will need a laptop in the truck while tuning which I'm fine with.

Yes it will scan and tune LB7. Yes it supports ctz and coz files. Make sure it has not been used to upgrade to a V2. If it has then you can no longer purchase PCM licenses for it. To find out if it has been used as an upgrade, send the serial number to me at paul@efilive.com

Also is there anything I shouldn't do like update to a certain version or anything .

Upgrading to the latest V7 software is ok. I'm out of the office right now. I should get to my emails later today.
