What is a good base tune to start with for a 2002 DBW, 6.0 and 4l80e? Does that exist without segment swapping? I've put a tune together for my buddy with segment swapping and he's having trans/shift problems (this is different than my other problem over in the transmission section). Acts as if it has a high stall and 'chooses the wrong gear' according to him.

I dont think so. The 2002 Escalade's were DBW and 6.0, but they were 4L60.

Does it act like a downshift flare where the transmission engages, slips, then engages again?
You also need to make sure you don't get switched up between case grounded and isolated ground o2 sensors. Check to ensure wiring is the same for that specific model tune/vehicle. I've seen where ground and sensor locations are different for different calibrations.

Even with trans segment swap, you still need to make minor wiring change (compare GMSM wiring diagram between 4L60E and 4L80E same year vehicles).
