howdy folks..98 gmc 2500 5.7 vortec.....ran fine til it sat for 3 days..turned over forever then finally started. drove to work..starred fine when i left.next am same thing..finally got the ol dog goin but ran rough. oh yea lots of huffin and chuffin when trying to start. checked for spark..spark present but really orange and coil wire didnt lookl grsat sooo.....replaced fowllowing..
dist cap and rotor
plugs and wires
ign module
coil
cam sensor
crank sensor
and found and repaired burnt wire(purple) in harness close to #2 plug

60psi fuel pressure ..batt 3mos old insured full charge..replace fuel filter also when first started running rough. bought truck for work truck a yr ago..first parts ive had to replace besides battery.
