I did an LML tune for a customer last summer but never saw the rig or scanned it in person until it was brought to me to get as CP3 pump last week. when I was done I drove it and could tell it was not hitting max MM3 I'm calling for in my tune which all the others I have done will hit 130MM3, and before with the cp4 it wouldn't make max rail pressure so I wouldn't have been able to hit max MM3 anyway. now it will make and maintain 29K plus with a fleece 10MM no problem, I replaced the drivers side FPRV since it was acting up. no it is running normal and will not go over 101.5mm3 that is the max MM3 I could see. I have all of the table calling for 130mm3 but am not seeing it and my hot tune doesn't run like my test LML does. there was a MAF sensor code present at one time when I checked it but was not turning the check engine light on. the only thing I could attribute it to is if the MAF sensor mess up or a plugged air filter. He needed the vehicle back so I didn't have time top troubleshoot it further but I'm leaning towards a S@B intake and see if I see an Increase in MM3 with that. any other ideas?

Have you found a fix for you're issue yet?

I haven't seen the rig again but I will be tuning on it again soon as he did egr delete and wants a trans mod done.

which main rate PID are you logging?

LML logging is stupid. No pulsewidth PID, half a dozen torque PID's that dont seem to have any rhyme or reason, and then the two mm3 PID's that are pretty ambiguous themselves. (main rate all, and calculated injection qty?? wtf)

Im not blaming EFILive, its GM/Bosch's fault I guess. But one of these days I do need to confirm logging with my Tech 2.

I'd have to look when I log it. but I know on all the others I have tuned I see 130 MM3 that I call for in my tune. but I haven't seen this one since he got the new intake. I ?'d the Maf sensor when I logged it last time and his intake was broke so we got him a new one and I will see soon what it is doing. on my 15 I have no issue seeing 130MM3 I don't think I missed any limiters but we'll see. yeah it would be nice if we could see main injection Us, but that isn't going to happen. have to assume if you have rail pressure and MM3 its going there if asked for.

Have you done many CP3 Conversion files? I ran into something similar a few years back,

I agree Ben, what they chose add as PID's is pretty worthless for tuning, but of course that wasn't their intention (to assist tuners). I think in a moment of insanity we looked at adding some DMA style PID's but the ECM didn't support them.

Had to be something with the intake no changes made other then the s@b intake and now it's hits 130 mm3whete do I raise the rev limiter? 3400 is all it will do? Looked through stuff and don't see it anywhere.

Did you ever figure this out?
