I am able to download the files from Tune File Depot (i.e. 2002 silverado 4.8L tune) but when I open the file in EFI live, all data is blank. No tune is present. What's going on?

Are you able to read the tunes you have pulled from vehicles? I was able to open that tune from the depot.

Guessing that you are using an older software version. Try using V8 to open the ctz file. You will get a pop-up window telling you that the tune was created with a newer version of the software - if that is indeed the issue.

Latest software is here: December-2015-EFILive-Public-Stable-Release (https://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?26174-December-2015-EFILive-Public-Stable-Release)

Also, if you have a V2, then see this: Setting-up-a-FSV2-from-scratch (https://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?20699-Setting-up-a-FSV2-from-scratch)

You all are great. That did the trick. Mine is the old version, V1.

I do get this warning when I open up tunes now though:

Address Range Report
The following calibrations have been excluded:

- User calibration: B9000 address range $029ADA..$029ADA is out of bounds.

User defined definitions for most older controllers may be defined outside of the calibration data area by checking the option: View->Properties->[Options]->"Allow *.cax files to modify operating system memory for some controllers."
