T43 Hardware

I know about the OS differences and cross flashing........ My question is, with the T43 are there hardware differences like the E38 or are they all the same? I ask that for the simple reason of full flashing with an MDI. I have a customer with a race rig and 2015 DI 4.3 / 6L80. He would like a spare 6L80 ready to rock. Finding one from another DI rig has been an issue.

Yes there is, around 2010 or so GM made a deliberate change that meant an earlier OS would never flash successfully in the newer T43's. But unfortunately this isn't something that is published so we don't know what changes they have made over the years, just search for the same service number T43 and it should be fine.

Im in the same boat as we speak. I have a 2009 6l80 that I am going to bench flash with TIS. I need to match it with a 2013 E38....is this going to be a problem?
