I'm trying to get a custom car put together as the title says, a ctsv ls6, with a truck style 4l60e behind it. I'm building the harness at the moment and ran into a snag. My original plan was to basically make a vette LS1 style harness that would have wiring going to the truck style 4l60e automatic. I would then build a tune using a vette LS1 auto trans segment and vette ls6 engine segment to get me going on a baseline.

Here's the issue, when I pull the diagrams for the vette 4l60e (ls1 style of course) the pinout is different than the truck or fbody 4l60e pinout. The physical connector is the same but the wiring itself is totally different. The vette has about 3 more wires in it as well. So I am assuming the valve bodys are totally different between vette and truck/fbody. I think I can probably match up function between the vette style and the truck style and make it work, but I am hesitant without at least checking with everyone here.

Any advice or other ideas?

Would I be better off building this harness as an F body auto setup and then swap in some segment info that will run the vette dbw components (this seems more complicated...)

OR have I found bad info on the pinouts???

This is the pinout I *thought* was for the 03-04 ls1 vette 4l60e, but I'm thinking now that it's incorrect.
