i am building a destroked big block with f 3m rev rotation procharger in a pro car want to put it on alchol have heard a lot of different stories . I was making 2000hp on gas would like to see 2300 to 2400 on the change i am using a xfi fast box 160lbs inj and was told the best way to do it was add a mech injection because it would take to many injectors like 18 or 19 inj i would like to know if anybody out there has done this if so could you help me out thanks bob

For something like that I would think you would be better off investing in a Motec or Autronic, at least they are designed to drive BIG injectors like what you will be needing with the ability to log 8 WBO2 & 8 EGT's if you wanted.

From memory you need 2.2 times as much alchohol as you would need Petrol to produce the same energy.
SO you are going to need some huge fuel pumps and in jectors to feed that beast.
No way in hell the GM management system will cope with that.
Youy are going to need some very serious injectors to even try and make that fly.
I think the mechanical injection suggestion is probably on the money.

Just an idea, but what about a mechanical injection system to supply the bulk of the fuel and then an EFI system to "fine tune" the fuel and control the spark and what not. Does this sound like a dumb idea, or what?
