View Full Version : Updated EFI live software now can no longer modify tunes made prior to update

I updated my software to V7.5.7. I have V1 hardware.

I have been running a COS3 tune and now when I try and update injector data (went from 158 lb to 79 lb injectors) I save my changes and 2 files are created, an efi live tune file and a .ctz file. When I open up either, the old injector data is still populated in there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like this software update caused nothing but trouble for me.

It seems that a tune that was modified with the old software version cannot be modified with the new software version.

Now, I want to create a new COS3 tune, but the COS3 calibration that comes in the efi live download looks like my old tunes (shows as EFI live Tune File). The current 1 bar tune I have is a .CTZ file. I don't want to do a full reflash on the blank COS3 calibration and then have the pcm stuck. Advice?

The new tune file format is .ctz which completely replaces .tun.

Do this:
1. open your .tun file and go File->Save, you will see a .ctz appear, this is now your new tune file.
2. now open the .ctz file and make your edits here, when done Save it, and flash it.

i.e. convert the .tun files to .ctz and then abandon the .tun files.

Joe,

when I open up calibration 0202003 COS3 tune (which you do a full reflash with and then reflash the 1 bar tune on top of that) to get the full COS3 tune. There is no option to save the file and convert it from .tun to .ctz
