So this winter I installed a new turbo cam in the car(Isky 3x12). I have tried to follow the idle tips and tricks sticky but its just not seeming to work. Are some of the pids not able to be chosen if its OLSD. What i am having an issue with is the car starts ok cold it stumbles a little bit then idles fine. Once you drive it and get it warmed up it fires up stumbles then dies you crank it up again and it fires right up and stays running. Also once warm it kind of surges around wants to die say when you pull into a parking lot and switch drive to reverse or vice versa. Any tips would help out greatly. I've searched this sight all over to find the problem i am having and nothing comes up. I am attaching the tune as well19435

Fix your main VE. There are steps of over 50% between adjacent cells - it has no hop eof running smoothly and consistently like that.

From what I can google, that cam is 212/212/112 - if so, given its only a pretty mild cam, I would go back and start with a stock table and get that sorted before worrying about the idle.

I guess i should mention it has 80lb deka injectors. I guess my injector tables are off is what's causing the big difference in the ve table. I have done an auto ve three times and it runs perfectly other than the stumble when changing gears

BTW: unrelated, if you're running an auto trans, set D0960,1,2 to 100% everywhere.

Make sure that get a MAF DTC.

VE table has many steps like darcy said.

Are you running boost...?

What HP are you expecting...?

Yes, you will need the correct data in other injector tables.

Yes running 15psi boost its perfect in and out of boost. Just the idle on warm start ups and like if your pulling into a parking lot and switch to reverse to back up to a spot it wants to surge and sometimes die if you let off the gas a little to fast.

It dynoed 535 on 13psi. Last week.

Are you expecting to make more (those injectors are too big for 550 HP)...?

Yes its on low boost for this turbo setup i have now. Going to be putting a gt4202 on it here shortly and turning the boost up to around 20 psi. I just cant figure out the stumble and the warm start and idle. It will start right up and idle around 14.5 to 15. But once warm gradually makes its way down to about 12.8. Ive tried messaging with the small pulse but it never seems to change anything. Ive tried adding idle airflow but then it starts even worse. I just can figure out wats causing it all.

What fuel pressure are you running?

Base truck fuel rails. So like 55

So there is one problem. Deka 80s are way more than 80 at that pressure. They really get idle controllable at their rated PSI, like 40 psi.

Another is your full injector data isn't even close for those injectors.

Like the voltage table? Would you happen to have data for them that you would share? Or a link to it?
