auto code clearing

Can you change efilive to not automatically clear codes when loading a new tune?

I'm not sure if you can do that, not something I've ever tried to do. You're likely going to have issues doing this however, when the PCM/ECM/TCM is flashed it can throw no codes, a few codes, or TONS of codes. You'd have to clear them before driving away anyway...

In tunetool, try this: go Edit->Properties->DTCs, and uncheck Autoclear DTCs at end of read or flash.

I'll try that. It's not a big deal. The car is hard to start until it fails the MAF. Sometimes it takes several tries to get it to run. Sometimes I have to play with the throttle a little to get it going. Once it fails the MAF it starts fine.
