Cummins U1601 boot mode

Attempting to flash 2011 cummins mid flash it quit now i get a $0371 on the autocal and a U1601 in the truck attempted to use a recovery file and also updated the autocal to latest firmware no luck. any ideas what to do next?:ermm:

So will the 'recovery' file start to flash then stop at the same point?

it will check 100% then when it goes to flash it doesn't get past 0%

Ok, just trying to be REALLY clear here, when you start to program the ECM it instantly errors out with $0371 Transfer Suspended? Not half way, not at the end but right at the start with 0% shown?

correct it instantly goes to $0371 at 0%

Are you in a position to try pass-through flashing from a PC? I don't think it will make much difference but it might be worth a shot because unfortunately a replacement ECM is probably the only fix if it won't come good.
