im following the VVE tuning guide and am applying the changes to b8101 and the AFR's will not move from 11.6

i dont have any problems flashing the map and it seems like the changes i make are not being applied. Can someone please help?

Did you fail the MAF, a DTC must show up immediately on engine start.

Did you generate coeffs...?

Try pasting to the other 1-bar VVE tables also, and generate their coeffs.

Did you disable CL and any/all forms of fuel trimming (LTFT, STFT, and any others if they exist, e.g. STFT on OL stoich)...?

Is your wideband producing correct/sane lambda measurements...?

Is the ECM saying correct/sane commanded lambda, does it agree wjth the acgive fuing table (i.e. OL or PE)...?

Are you logging SAE.LAMBDA...? Try this instead of AFR.

EDIT: I can now look at your log in post #1, and I see that you are logging SAE.LAMBDA.

What are you using for BEN pid...?

It should calculate {EXT.WO2LAM1}/{SAE.LAMBDA}

able to log and I copied table with labels over to those 4 parameters on VVE and did a paste with multiply, generated vve, then coefficients, and it just seemed to run even worse.

I have no idea what the problems was. it turned out to be a mess with my buddy having to get a two truck home because we simply ran out of time and we have to work tomorrow. I kept making changes and flashing but the AFR's didnt move. Today was very frustrating but I thank you Joe for helping me out.

From the log in post #1 it looks like your wideband is not working properly.

Oh man... Well I'll post it tomorrow. I'm really trying to work out the idle. I can't drive it anywhere without stalling, and it has a hard time running period. Can I just multiply the whole vve table by 0.7 to get it to run leaner if my current lambda eqr is 1.3 off?

In the log in post #1 I see MAP oscillating between 69 kPa and 77 kPa every 1.4 seconds... sounds like one port of the intake manifold might have a small airleak.

ok
I can check that. We didnt remove the IM at all so i dont know if that may have to do with the settings in the rom
