Got my Efi Live here. it tells me my cmd files can't be found gave me a $0502 and a $FFFF

any help would be great to get my truck running again. just got it back from the shop they put on, exhaust, intake,egr/egr cooler delete.

would like to start my truck without hurting anything. they towed it back to my house.

also when I got to read program flash, program full it says wrong ecm type

2012 2500 6.7L laramie

i know I have the cmd cm2200a but it will throw all the codes from the deletes i'm sure if i just start the truck.

Do I have to take the ecm off the truck for anything to connect to that?

Are your trying to download the tune? if so you can't do that you will need delete tunes from a tuner like PPEI or Hardway and use the boot patch tune to unlock then flash in the tune from them.

i'm just trying to get the tune from the Efi live flashscan v2

it has the
stock tune
smokeless
economoy
power
towing

on the tuner already i would kike to just get the economoy and towing on my truck. That way i can at least drive it to work .

i have everything setup so i can read how the truck is running but when i try to put the tune on the truck i keep getting that $FFFF tune switching ,
and i get the $0502 in the tuning and program full it has the cmb_0001 and cmb_0003 and it then gives me that 502 code

your V2 isn't configured to flash that controller. are you trying to black box flash it with just the V2 or are you trying to flash it with a laptop? sounds like you are trying to flash it with just the V2 alone with tunes on an SD card inserted into the V2?

FlashScan requires configuration prior to use. Here is the setup document. https://support.efilive.com/kb_article.php?ref=6659-YAHB-3781
