I'm trying to diagnose my 2008 Silverado that just threw:

P0606 ECM/PCM Processor Internal Fault EPA Pending ($00) "Integration/Manufacturer expansion"
P069E Fuel Pump Control Module (FPCM) Requested MIL Illumination EPA Pending ($11) "Engine Control Module (ECM)"

I'd like to be able to command the fuel pump on / off but the DVT only shows a Secondary Fuel Pump (under output control). Nothing pump related under the Fuel System tab. I just noticed the duty cycle control but I'm looking for an on / off.

Any ideas??

Thanks

Rob

If you have a FPCM then that is what is controlling the pump, not the ECM.
Given the FPCM is requesting the MIL to be turned on it sounds like you have a problem with it.

Yup, its an FPFCM :-( Guess it takes the GM scanner to pull codes from it (that will probably cost $$ for the dealer to check). Hopefully the FPFCM is causing the P0606 and not the other way around.

I've been reading the FPFCM is susceptible to water intrusion but it hasn't gotten wet since the last time I drove it w/o any codes.
