full flashing al5 controller with v2 (allison tcm)

my v2 using v8 software will not allow me to full flash an al5 controller i have a heard that i need to have a commercial scan and tune to be able to do this i am wondering if this is true and if so am i able to change mine to a commercial scan and tune and what the cost would be any help is appreciated thanks

Due to the complexity to implement full flash for AL5, at this point it is only available via V7.5 software.

To use full flash via V7 software, ensure you close your V8 software, and connect your FlashScan V2 prior to opening the V7.5 Tune tool.

Having an issue full flashing an al5 tcm, I have done this in the past using the method above. 7.5 tells me the flashscan interface cable is not licensed. V8 says the the controller is licensed. I have updated firmware tried public release and beta 5 versions of 7.5 and v8. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
