How are you guys getting the Calibration numbers based off vin number? I have a remote customer and I need to know the number so I get the right base. I don't have access to read the truck. The VIN is 3C6UR5HL0GD563755.

You can't really because even on the TA website it just lists a bunch of 'possibilities' for the user to choose from.
I don't have an Autocal here on my desk to check the process for you but on the V2 you can display the current ECM info by going:
F3: Diagnostics
F1: Display Info
F1: Display VIN/Info

If you have the Cummins PID's copied on to the device it will show the VIN, ECM S/N, OS and CalID.

Cheers,
Ross

I think tuners are going the way of using a single tune file for each year and trans type regardless of CAL ID. But I don't know that for sure.

The previous Cali ID's and OS were consolidated by Cummins.

Many of the previous combinations that were numerous and confusing have been narrowed down to basic files.

2500, 3500, 4500, 5500 , Aisin, 68RFE and Manual Trans, Pickup and C&C

We ask for year, model, GVWR and trans and go from there

I know this is an old thread, but do you know if there are any compatibilities year to year, ie, can a 2012 2500 Auto file be used in a 2010 2500 Auto? I've done the same type of OS swapping with 06-07 and 07.5-09 without issues, but never tried running any different year OS's on my 2010.
