I'm having an issue with TU/TD function. Scanning the TCU, I'm seeing the request for upshift and downshift but it will not do either. The scanner shows that it's in the manual mode but the driver control always shows inactive. What am I missing? What are the parameters of enabling manual control? The way I see it is that if the shifter sees the manual detent and the TU/TD switch is recognized by the resistance, then it should switch on the scanner to driver control active....... The TU/TD shifter is enabled and set to wired in the software. What am I missing?

I thought tap-up/tap-down was controlled via a data message from the camaro BCM? Or did you swap the BCM too?

The BCM is not required for the Camaro/Corvette OS from my reading at least. The truck OS however.......

Take a look at this thread, you need to wire a set of resistors into pin #7 on the TCM harness.

Those resistors are already part of the TU/TD switches in the Malibu shifter and are the correct resistance-
