I have a flashscan v2 and have been using it for a while with a aem uego wideband and eventually my connector that had the tx cable broke and i never messed with it until today. when i fixed it and hooked everything back up i cant get the flashscan to read anything.

nothing has changed from when it worked, i verified all firmware/software is configured correctly.
pinouts are correct( ground is pin 5, serial [aem blue wire] is pin 2)
i tested the aem with a laptop and it receives data over rs232
i went into the options > self test > external sensors on the flashscan and it shows my a/ds correctly but says zero for everything else
i tested continuity of all my cables and they are all OK

I cant think of anything else that it could be

Is it possible its a flashscan hardware failure? if so, can it be repaired?

The second LED from the left on FlashScan's keypad (orange color) will flash whenever it detects serial data on the serial connector. So if that LED does not flash, then no serial data is being seen by FlashScan.
