View Full Version : Can't modify Dashpage in V7 Scanner

I'm having an issue with being able to modify a new dashpage in the V7 scanner. I'm up to date, build 309.

I had another computer with an older copy (build 290 or so?) and I was able to modify with that version of the software, however after I updated it to 309, the same issue happened.

I created a Pid file with my selected pids, moved over to dashboard, and clicked clear all dash pages, and then saved the dashpage as a new file with the same name as my pid file.

After doing this, I no longer get the right click menu popup when trying to add a gauge to the dashpage.

I can modify the default dash pages, and the right click menu shows up with them, but as soon as I load my own dash page, the functionality disappears.

I've tried this on both Windows 10 64bit pro, and Windows 8.1 64 bit pro. I've also tried uninstalling, deleting the EFI live folder in Documents, and Reinstalling. I've verified permissions are correct in windows and I have full ownership, and full control. Also tried running as administrator.

Anyone else have this issue?

I can confirm it's a bug in the V7 software. It will be fixed in the next update.

Meanwhile, unzip the attached "dummy" file into the folder: \My Documents\EFILive\V7.5\VDash
Then when you are working with a blank dash page, open that dummy file which contains a single gauge. You can right click on that gauge to add more gauges or charts, then delete the dummy gauge.
