Hi all.

I am posting for a mate who is currently trying to convert his 1meg ECU to a cable throttle body.
Can anyone here please tell me if it has been done and if so what is involved?
He is running the ECU with the Blue / Green plugs (1meg) BCM and all the gear out of a VX commodore in a hotrod. He is after the cable throttle for the look effect with the exposed engine etc.
Is it as simple as wiring the TSP and IAC into the correct pin-out on the ECU and adjusting the tune?

Thanks in advance for any help.

The PCM does not have the output drivers for the physical IAC (if you look at a 1MB PCM card you will see a some chips missing from the board).

Thanks Joe.
I thought this might be the case. He is running the newer style auto box too so I cant run the older PCM either.
Ill let him know the news.
Cheers

You need a 1 MB PCM from a Van in the USA. You will also need to use the van operating system. They are factory DBC. Then wire in the connectors needed.
