Revert to older firmware and bootblock

No, you cannot revert back to an older version. That restriction is in place to prevent compatibility issues but more importantly when the firmware is updated the internal flash memory is usually re-formatted with new/updated data during the first re-boot after updating the firmware. If you were to revert it back, then the new flash memory format would not work with the older firmware.

Specifically, if you have just updated to the latest V2.07.104, that upgrade re-images some of the device's flash memory for a new purpose (to handle the new remote AutoCal linking/unlinking features). If you went back to a previous version firmware it would not be able to handle the new flash memory format.
